  • Mercato di Testaccio on Piazza Testaccio (fruit, vegetables, meat, poultry and fish) Mon-Sat mornings
  • Porta Portese on Via Portuense and Via Ippolito Nievo (everything from antiques to hub caps) Sunday morning only
  • Mercato di Via Sannio on Via Sannio (clothes, shoes, jewellry, utiensils and music) Mon-Sat mornings

Discount department Stores are few and far between, but these should offer a nice selection.

Malls
Rome has two major shopping centers.
  • Cinecitta Due Centro Commerciale - Metro Line A to Cinecitta (over 100 stores)
  • I Granai - Metro Line B to Laurentina (over 150 stores)
